Please sign this petition to reverse the California Court’s that homeschooling is illegal in California unless the parent has a teaching credential.
Judge Walter Croskey wrote that “parents who fail to do so [send their child to a school] may be subject to a criminal complaint against them, found guilty of an infraction, and subject to imposition of fines or an order to complete a parent education and counseling program”
Judge Croskey’s ruling effectively makes homeschooling illegal for as many as 200,000 students in California. If action is not taken, it is possible that other Courts and state officials may try to take away parents rights also.

We, the undersigned, petition the Supreme Court of California to reverse the Court of Appeal opinion in In re: Rachel L., unanimously ruled by Justice Walter Croskey, Justice Patti S. Kitching and Justice Joan Dempsey Klein on February 28, 2008.[privacy]
